Seymour Productions was co-founded by Christopher Orne and Lauren Schwartz
of Athens, Georgia with a solid do-it-yourself attitude. Combining degrees
in production and communications respectively, they worked on a variety of
individual projects, from an experimental documentary "blue" to the R.E.M.
commissioned archives project. With over fifteen years experience between
them, Orne and Schwartz decided to join forces in order to establish more
creative freedom over their work and relocated to Los Angeles in 2005. In
keeping with the young and fiery spirit of its founders, Seymour Productions
attempts to rouse complacent viewers by challenging their norms and steering
them away from conventional productions through the investigation of
uncommon subject matters.
